The Raleigh area has a strong military community - Fort Liberty (formerly Fort Bragg) is about an hour away, and many active-duty service members and veterans live in Raleigh and the Triangle. The Dominicans Barbershop is proud to serve our military community with regulation cuts, high-and-tights, and sharp fades.
Our barbers know the military grooming standards for each branch - Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, Space Force, and Coast Guard. Whether you need a regulation cut for inspection, a high-and-tight for the field, or a fresh fade for liberty, we'll get it right.
We're at 3601 Capital Blvd, Raleigh, NC 27604. Open 7 days a week from 8:40 AM to 9:00 PM. Walk-ins welcome. Cuts from $35, fades from $40. We speak English and Spanish - we welcome all service members and veterans.
Military haircut styles we do
We cut all military-standard styles: Regulation Cut - neat, tapered, within branch grooming standards. High-and-Tight - classic Marine-style cut with very short sides and a bit of length on top. Buzz Cut - uniform short cut, any guard length. Skin Fade - skin-tight fade, sharp for inspection. Induction Cut - the classic buzz cut you get at boot camp. Flat Top - flat top with faded sides, classic military style.
If you're preparing for inspection, let your barber know the specific standards for your branch. We'll make sure your cut meets regulation - length on top, tapered sides, clean neckline, and no designs or lines (which are prohibited in most branches).
For veterans who are no longer subject to regulation, we can do any style - fades, designs, longer cuts, whatever you want. Many veterans keep the military-style cut because it's low-maintenance and looks sharp.
