Most barbershops in Raleigh have 2-4 barbers - they can't handle a group. The Dominicans Barbershop has 24 barbers on the floor, making us the only barbershop in the Triangle that can efficiently cut a large group at once.
Whether it's a wedding party of 10, a sports team of 20, a corporate team-building outing, or a family of 5, we can handle it. Multiple barbers work simultaneously, so your group is in and out in a fraction of the time it would take at a smaller shop.

Types of groups we serve
We serve a wide range of groups: Wedding Parties - groom, groomsmen, fathers, ring bearers. We can cut the whole party in under an hour. Sports Teams - football, basketball, baseball, soccer. Get the whole team fresh before a game or photo day. Corporate Groups - team-building outings, client events, conference attendees. Family Outings - dad and the kids, multi-generational families. Birthday Parties - bring the squad for a group fresh cut. School Groups - prom groups, graduation groups, fraternity/sorority.
With 24 barbers, we can handle groups of up to 20+ people at once. For very large groups (30+), we can stagger arrivals or dedicate specific barbers to your group.
Every group member gets the same quality cut - our 24 barbers are all trained in the Dominican tradition, so the quality is consistent no matter who's in the chair.
How to book a group
To book a group, call us at (980) 819-1045. We'll ask about the group size, the services needed (cuts, fades, beard trims, shaves), and the preferred date and time. We'll then set aside enough barbers to handle your group efficiently.
We recommend booking at least 1-2 weeks in advance for groups of 5 or more. For very large groups (15+), book 2-3 weeks in advance. For wedding parties during peak season (April-October), book as early as possible.
On the day of your group booking, please arrive together or within a 15-minute window. This ensures we can seat everyone quickly and keep the flow moving. If some members are running late, just let us know - we'll adjust.
Group pricing and tips
Group members pay the standard prices: Regular Haircut $35+, Skin Fade $40+, Beard Trim $20+, Hot Towel Shave $30+, Kids Haircut $25+, Shape Up $15+. We don't currently offer a formal group discount, but the efficiency of getting everyone cut at once is the value.
Tips for a smooth group visit: 1) Book in advance - don't just show up with 15 people. 2) Arrive together or within a 15-minute window. 3) Have each person know what they want (or bring a photo). 4) Designate one person as the point of contact. 5) For wedding parties, consider booking the morning of or the day before.
Many of our group clients make it a tradition - a sports team comes before every season, a wedding party comes before every wedding, a corporate team comes quarterly. We love being part of these rituals.
