Holly Springs' Premier Barbershop
Just moved to Holly Springs? The hardest part of relocating isn't the boxes - it's finding a barber who gets your hair. Ours get all of them.
14 miles north on Capital Boulevard
Holly Springs is filling up with transplants - new neighborhoods at Sunset Ridge, families around Ting Stadium, half the town still learning which grocery store is theirs. And everyone who relocates hits the same problem about three weeks in: the haircut is overdue and there's no barber you trust yet.
Here's the shortcut past the trial-and-error phase: The Dominicans Barbershop, 14 miles north on Capital Boulevard. First Latino barbershop in Raleigh, open since 2006 - we've been the 'new barber' for thousands of Triangle transplants already.
The numbers do the convincing: 24 barbers, 5.0 stars across 1,600+ Google reviews, bilingual English/Spanish on every chair, open 8:40 AM-9:00 PM every day. Whatever hair type and whatever language you brought to Holly Springs, we speak both.
Every transplant runs the same experiment: try the closest shop, hope for the best. In a growing town the closest shop is usually also the busiest - Holly Springs keeps adding residents faster than it adds barber chairs, which is why waits stretch and quality varies.
Skip the audition. Our floor is 24 chairs deep, so capacity is never the bottleneck, and every barber is trained in the same Dominican standard - the cut doesn't depend on which chair opens up.
From downtown Holly Springs or the Town Center it's NC-55 to US-1 to Capital Blvd - about 25-30 minutes, same from Sunset Ridge or Twincreeks via Bass Lake Road. It's the longest drive on this page, so make it count: book a slot, bring the family, fold it into a Raleigh day.
Kids under 12 are $25, regular cuts $35+, fades $40+ - and because the whole family can sit at once, one trip handles everyone instead of four separate afternoons at a two-chair shop.
The best part of finding your barber is the second visit - when they already know your hair, your cowlick, your 'same as last time.' Request the same barber each visit (just ask for them by name when you book) and skip straight to the relationship most people wait years for.
Walk-ins are always welcome, English and Spanish both fine, and we're open Sundays - the day most Holly Springs shops are dark and your week starts tomorrow.
