Garner's Premier Barbershop
Garner is our closest neighbor - 6 miles, maybe 12 minutes, and the difference between a barbershop visit and a barbershop wait is what you'll find at the other end.
6 miles north on Capital Boulevard
Of every town on this site, Garner is closest to our chairs - about 6 miles from downtown to our door at 3601 Capital Blvd. That makes us less of a 'drive to Raleigh' and more of a neighborhood shop that happens to sit over the line.
Garner has its own barbering tradition - Alpha Barber Shop on the historic downtown strip has cut generations of locals. What a small-town shop can't offer is depth: when their two or three chairs are full, you're waiting. When our 24 are busy, there's still a chair with your name on it.
The rest of the math is simple too: 5.0 stars over 1,600+ Google reviews, barbers fluent in English and Spanish for Garner's growing Hispanic community, and a schedule (8:40 AM-9:00 PM daily) that fits a Garner workday instead of fighting it.
US-70 to Capital Blvd and you're here - roughly 12 minutes from Downtown Garner, 15 from White Oak or Garner Station. Aversboro Road folks can come up New Bern Ave in about the same time. Free parking sits directly in front.
That short hop buys you the Triangle's biggest floor: 24 barbers, so the Saturday-morning crowd that backs up a two-chair Garner shop simply doesn't happen here.
We're the first Latino barbershop Raleigh ever had, but the vibe is closer to what Garner folks already like about their town: unpretentious, friendly, everybody's uncle in the next chair. The only difference is scale - master barbers instead of whoever's free.
Garner's Hispanic community - about 14% of town and growing - gets the added comfort of describing the cut in Spanish to a barber who answers in Spanish. Every chair on our floor is bilingual.
Most Garner shops lock the door at 5 or 6 PM and stay dark Sundays. We cut until 9:00 PM seven days a week - which means a trim after the shift ends, or a Sunday cleanup before the work week, is a real option instead of a scheduling crisis.
Walk-ins run all day, or book a chair at calltruco.keynou.com. Cuts from $35, fades from $40, kids under 12 from $25.
